By accessing disabledbutnotreally.org or engaging with DBNR programs, events, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or participate in our programs.

You may use this site for lawful purposes related to learning about, supporting, or participating in DBNR’s mission. You agree not to use the site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our services or interfere with other users.

When interacting with DBNR (online, in programs, or at events), you agree to treat staff, volunteers, partners, and fellow participants with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from programs and restriction from future participation.

Donations to DBNR are processed through Keela and its payment partners. By donating, you confirm that the payment method is yours and that the funds are being given voluntarily to support DBNR’s mission.

Recurring donations may be cancelled at any time by contacting hello@disabledbutnotreally.org. Refunds for mistaken donations are handled case-by-case; please reach out within 30 days.

Participation in DBNR programs (including Camp Courage, workshops, and community events) may require completion of intake forms, waivers, and agreement to program-specific rules. DBNR reserves the right to decline or end participation where safety or program integrity requires it.

All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, photography, and video — is owned by DBNR or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

Our site may link to third-party websites (such as Keela for donations or partner organizations). DBNR is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those sites. Your interactions with them are governed by their own policies.

The site and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. DBNR does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. Information on the site is provided for general awareness and is not medical, legal, or financial advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DBNR, its directors, staff, volunteers, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site, programs, or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid DBNR, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
